The Casa Blanca building was constructed in 1858. This wonderful yellow colored construction has preserved the ancient corral structure. This makes it one of the few buildings with this unique structure in Otrobanda and therefore it is of cultural historical value. The building has been completely restored as a Civil Registry (kranshi). This restoration has turned out to be so successful that it was awarded the Carfibian prize for best restoration architecture.
